Curious Calves

I was out in the field in the golf cart and these guys were being very brave.

Then when I started the cart they high-tailed it back to their moms.

First Day of Spring

Sometimes the best picture is the one with my thumb in it. This tree just started blooming, there are two birds in the tree scolding me. I usually bring them food when I come out this way.

Tenderloin

The package of tenderloin from our last steer had enough for two families. Here is how Amy did hers. She  seared them first in a Dutch oven until they were very brown, then she moved them to her Traeger pellet grill for a 20 minute finish. she said they were melt-in-the mouth.

These were large steaks, each one was enough for two people.
